The Wedge, Asheville, North Carolina
The Wedge in Asheville around 4pm. It came highly recommended in a beer rich environment, and since local recs are always the right answer, off we went. We loved it. Local brews, shade, and peanuts on a beautiful day, last night's rain long forgotten.
Vinnie’s, Savannah, Georgia
To Vinnie’s with the dogs, we took the long way along the boardwalk and through one of the South's most charming spots. Vinnie's is the best kind of place, with $3 walking beers, awesome pizza and a chaotic atmosphere, that everyone adores, with good reason. We sat on the curb outside and managed to save only one piece for breakfast.

The Blind Tiger. Our favorite Charleston hangout, especially with a game of ring toss in the courtyard throw in. Frederick made us the best burgers in town, with local beer to wash it down. (Local's always the right answer).
