Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

We at GORUCK are huge fans of Harley Davidson, so a trip to the museum was a must during our time in Milwaukee. It’s home to the original Harley from 1903 and the complete history of the bikes and the brand, but the wall of fan pictures is where we spent the most time. Though they don’t yet update it, if they did we’d send in our last picture in this post, taken 20+ years ago on a ’77 Super Glide Jason still lets his dad borrow to this day.

Cleveland + Lake Erie, Ohio

We made it to the birthplace of (the phrase) ‘rock and roll’, and its hall of fame right on Lake Erie. The no photography rule definitely kept us from trying on John Lennon’s Sgt Pepper uniform (just real quick), among other things, but we still had a blast. Rock star air behind us, we trekked up to fresh air on Catawaba Island, where we scouted out the best spots to swim and enjoy the lake off the beaten path.
