At our factory in Colorado, pictured is a sub-assembled GR ECHO, in a new color, coming soon. Our sewers use military-grade materials and construction techniques to sew the components together, thus creating the toughest bags on the planet for use by adventure seekers the world over. GORUCK gear is meant to earn its own Scars, so play hard.

Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado
Our friends Sara and Dana met us out on Pearl Street in Downtown Boulder to show us around. The night ended far from where it started but had a lot of outdoor venues thrown in – the last stop (as far as we remember) was Mountain Sun, a local microbrewery with great beers we’ll have to try earlier in the night next time to fully appreciate.
Moe’s Broadway Bagels, Boulder, Colorado
After a late night in Denver we paid an early visit an old friend at a Boulder institution, Moe’s Broadway Bagels. Without seriously consulting the menu, we asked for large cups of hot coffee and the house specialty. The brew was superb (and much needed) and the bacon egg and cheese was every bit as good as we hoped for. Moe’s hit the spot, and will continue to hit the spot every time we’re in Boulder.
Denver, Colorado
Friends gave us tickets to the Rockies / Red Sox game, so off we went. We shot pool across the street before game time and heard all about the local team’s soon to be Cy Young award winner. Sox fans were out in droves and often needed a stern talking to by older, wiser, and infinitely more local ushers who appeared even smarter after a bottom of the 9th walk off home run for the home team. We followed the excitement into Denver’s mile-high, open air bars into the wee hours.
Bike to Work Day, Boulder, Colorado
It’s Bike to Work Day, the official version, so we followed suit, enjoying free coffee, bagels, and a smiling, sunny Boulder made happy by the exercise, the sense of community, and a USA victory in the World Cup that we’re happy did not come at England’s expense. Go team!
Steamboat, Colorado
Strawberry Park Hot Springs was recommended as ‘the thing to do’ in town, so off we went (of course) to enjoy a local favorite. The river was freezing, the springs were steamy hot, and everyone was in their element – the perfect relaxation before catching up on everything in a very cool bookstore/coffee shop off the beaten path.
