Colder outside than it should have been for a baseball game, wearing gloves to drink beer at Fenway is still great, especially with the Yanks in town. (But it should be summer already, or spring, or something.) The Sox fans took pride as Yanks fan were ejected and in running up the score, eagerly greeting each with standing O’s . This spilled into the bars and restaurants downtown after everyone left the stadium, thrilled at having crushed the Yanks.
