Here is a rundown on all details for May 2021: Honor
“I had a dream about Honor. Heavy stuff. Just processing the last moments of dying men, feeling the weight of what they’ve paid, what was given … Honor is something intimate. It’s the way we carry the cost, it’s in their eyes and in turn our eyes.” — Roger Sparks
Roger sent me that with the artwork for this Memorial Day month of HONOR. It caught me off guard how much it hit home as I sat at my desk with tears in my eyes, powerless but to stare back into an abyss of emotion.
When I shared it with Rich, he teared up — caught off guard as I was — and looked down, then right into my eyes and said softly, “when you’re holding someone in your arms and they’re dying and you know they’re dying and they know they’re dying, it’s a look, a feeling you never forget.”
We exist in our lives and in our company to honor and remember such moments, and to celebrate people of all walks of life who lead lives of HONOR.
