Today is Memorial Day but the truth is that every day is Memorial Day when you lose someone you love. Yes, BBQ and beers are great and live life to its fullest. I am and we are. But it’s not national BBQ day. Please take a moment to be grateful for life in America because of the Americans who have died for all of us.

And if you can ever visit Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington, D.C., do it. Section 60 is the most recent one, where too many of my generation’s warfighters rest in peace.
