Back in 2017, we stopped by Fort Myers to say hi to longtime friend and cadre, Aaron, and check out the progress on building his new indoor shooting range, Shoot Center. Now, almost 2 years later we checked back in with him to see how it’s going. Aaron has taught over 100 GORUCK Firearms training courses, including custom events for SWAT teams.

Aaron served for 12 years as a member of America’s elite U.S. Army Special Forces and as a “Green Beret” he had the pleasure of working with some of the finest soldiers in the military and training soldiers all over the world.  After his time as the Senior Engineer of Operational Detachment Alpha 1223, Aaron helped prepare new soldiers for the rigors of Special Forces Assessment and Selection. Aaron rounded off his career as a firearms instructor at the Special Forces Weapon’s Maintenance and Training Facility located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Responsible for the design and construction of Shoot Center, Aaron launched the business in 2017. Since opening, he has trained over 1,500 students. Word on the street is that he has a new location planned for Jacksonville, FL.
