Campfires are the life of the party.  Rangers know this, and even went so far as to name them Ranger TV, a show that never retires.  And Ranger TV with pups and best friends, with local beers (from across the state line, granted) and hot dogs in a gorgeous national forest, is even better.  All well worth an early am tent tear down in the rain, pups muddy as hell en route to Portland.
