San Fran played a perfect host to Al Green’s love songs and the people who were as excited to be in Golden Gate Park for Outside Lands as we were. As has always been the case this summer, the people we met (in the time between acts) made our experience what it was. As for the music, though, Phoenix did play one of the best sets we’ve ever heard, and everyone around us agreed.
