Interior Hydration Integration: 2.0 Has D-ring vs 1.0 has Velcro Snap

Plate Pocket: 2.0 has an elevated, velcro pocket that fits 20 LB & 30 LB Expert Plates and secures them down (this means that if you turn the ruck upside down, the Ruck Plates won’t go anywhere – this is pretty useful at a GORUCK Challenge. 2.0’s elastic pocket fits all plates, but will not secure them down. The elevated pocket keeps the weight stable and high on your back, which is preferred for rucking. Rucker 1.0 has a lower elastic pocket that secures with velcro and fits all plates.

2.0 PLATE INTEGRATION

20 LB Expert: Secures in the VELCRO close Elevated Plate Pocket

30 LB Expert: Secures in the VELCRO close Elevated Plate Pocket

20 LB Standard: Does not fit in the elevated plate pocket. It does fit in the elastic pocket, but will not be secured down and may shift around. While rucking, to prevent it from shifting around (specifically side to side), you would need to wrap it in something like a towel. Just be careful if you plan on submerging your ruck if it has a towel in it, say, at a GORUCK Challenge. Towels absorb water and take on additional weight when wet.

30 LB Standard: Does not fit in the elevated plate pocket. It does fit in the elastic pocket, but will not be secured down and may shift around.

10 LB: Fits in the elevated plate pocket and elastic pocket, but will not be secured down and may shift around.

45 LB: Does not fit in the elevated plate pocket. It does fit in the elastic pocket, but will not be secured down and may shift around. Note: because of its size and the fact that it fills up most of the elastic pocket, it won’t shift around that much.
