While searching for tickets we made some new friends — one was named Spartacus for his ability to crush eating competitions — and tailgated a while, sharing a sense of disregard for the game’s outcome, instead enjoying the energy (even about hot dog races on the big screen), the food, the waterfalls, the fireworks, and a very cool KC.
